Multi-Faith Women Leaders’ Advocacy Training on Proper Waste Management in Mombasa County, Kenya

The Catholic Youth Network for Environmental Sustainability in Africa (CYNESA) in partnership with the Global Green Grants Fund will bring together 60 women faith leaders drawn from across multiple faith communities in Mombasa County from different ethnic communities and of diverse age groups to a 2-day resident Advocacy Training on Proper Waste Management in Mombasa County, Kenya from Friday 30th June through Sunday 2nd July 2017 at The Reef Hotel, Mombasa.

CYNESA Multi Faith Women Leaders Advocacy Training on Waste Management - Mombasa

The objectives of the training are:

  1. To equip 60 women leaders of different faiths in Mombasa County with advocacy skills on proper waste reduction, management and disposal.
  2. To establish a networking platform for multi-faith communities to work together on waste reduction, management and disposal at the grassroots.
  3. To demonstrate waste by-products that can generate income for communities.
