Allen Ottaro is passionate about developing the capacity of young people in Africa to change their communities. This passion, combined with his training in Environmental Planning and Management and more than 7 years of leading an Ignatian young adult program, were the ingredients that inspired the founding of CYNESA.
Allen’s vision is to grow the network into a hub that serves all young Catholics in Africa and across the world in caring for creation.
Mr. David Ngigi Munene
Programs Manager – CYNESA Kenya
David is enthusiastic, optimist with an unquenchable urge to shed off ignorance in ecology and care for creation, both from a scientific and faith perspective. He introduces himself as an outdated computer scientist having studied computer science and attained several IT certifications from different institutions between 2005 and 2011. David worked as a college End-User Training instructor for over four years before resigning from the formal corporate world on Sunday, October 2nd, 2011. Currently, David works as a freelance academic research writer in a diversity of disciplines and is also a wannabe poet having published over 150 poems online. David’s vision is to see more young people believe and work towards a different, more Godly yet human, today with greater enthusiasm and optimism.
Mr. Henry Njeru Kithinji,
Director Finance – CYNESA Kenya
Henry is a self-driven Nursing and Public Health officer with extensive knowledge and experience in health and health related programs. He is currently working as a Tutor in St. Clare’s School of Nursing Kaplong and a Freelance Academic Consultant in Health related disciplines. He has a diverse knowledge in Health and Technology.
Henry’s vision is to see to it that our environment is conserved or used in a sustainable manner since it’s also a heritage for the future generations. Dare to care for the environment and it will care for you!
